SEASON 1

"Welcome To The Hellmouth" and "The Harvest"

The series picks up where the feature film left off, as Buffy Summers and her mum move to Sunnydale, for a fresh start. Buffy soon makes new friends and discovers that Sunnydale isn't a Vampire and Demon Free Zone.  She meets her new "Watcher," Giles who is also the school librarian, and she is called  to stop The Master from destroying the earth.

"The Witch"

Students at the Cheerleading tryouts start dropping out because of spontaneous combustion and going blind.  Buffy soon becomes the target of a witches spell as one student will do anything to make the team.

"Teachers Pet"

The sexy substitute teacher is infatuated with Xander, but is she everything that she seems.  Buffy gets suspicious of the teacher and tries to find out who she really is.

"Never Kill A Boy On The First Date"

Buffy  tries to maintain  a normal  life by going on a date rather than sticking to her Slayer duties. Meanwhile, The Master is plotting against her by invoking the wrath of the "Anointed One,".

"The Pack"

Buffy and the gang go on a field trip to the Sunnydale Zoo, Xander  and the school bullies sneak into a quarantined hyena exhibit, and are possessed by the hyena spirits.  Buffy will have to find the cause of  Xanders possession.

Buffy's infatuation with Angel grows stronger each day, but she doesn't understand why he is always disappearing. The Master summons warrior vampires to try to stop Buffy.

"I Robot, You Jane"

Willow scans a spell book onto the library's computer, releasing an age-old demon onto the Internet.  Willow has also fallen for a cyber-beau whom she met online, but Xander and Buffy are wary of his true identity.

"The Puppet Show"

Buffy, Xander and Willow get roped into performing in the school talent show, buy the new principal.  They soon find themselves on the hunt for a possessed puppet and an organ- harvesting demon.

"Nightmares"

Nightmares become reality when everyone in Sunnydale is living out their worst fears. Xander comes to school in his underwear and is chased by a clown. Giles is unable to read and Willow sings in front of a large audience

Buffy  and Cordelia team up to fight an invisible spirit that has targeted Cordelia. Angel warns to Giles that Buffy could be in serious danger.

Angel gives Giles and ancient book which foretells that the Slayer will face The Master and die. Xander, Willow  and Cordelia face an army of demons during the Masters ascension.

 

SEASON 2

"When She Was Bad"

Buffy  returns home to Sunnydale after a spending the summer at her fathers,  Cordelia and Ms. Calendar are kidnapped and Buffy must save them, Buffy turns Angel away before they can express their feelings towards each other.

"Some Assembly Required"

Body parts of dead girls are discovered missing from their graves, Buffy soon discovers that the parts are being used to create the perfect woman.  Giles asks Ms. Calendar out on a date and Angel is jealousy over Xander

"School Hard"

Parent-teacher night is crashed by Spike and Drusilla.  Spike is the only vampire to have killed two Slayers and now he wants to make it three.  Buffy must protect her fellow students, the principal and her mother keeping her secret. 

"Inca Mummy Girl"

Xander falls for a beautiful Peruvian exchange student who is staying with Buffy.  A fellow student goes missing and it is soon revealed that the exchange student is an ancient mummy who must kill to stay alive.

"Reptile Boy"

Cordilia and Buffy are asked out by two collage guys, but soon find themselves as human sacrifices at a Frat House party to a horrible half-man, half-snake creature.

"Halloween"

Buffy, Willow, and Xander are forced to go to trick-or-treat with the neighborhood kids, by Principal Snyder.   Someone from Giles's past turns everyone  into their costume characters and Buffy loses her slaying powers. 

"Lie To Me"

Buffy's  fifth grade sweetheart has come to Sunnydale to deliver Buffy to Spike in exchange for becoming a vampire. Angel tells Buffy about his past with Drusillia.

"The Dark Age"

Giles' past catches up with him when a murder victim, is discovered on the steps of the library.  A demon takes over the body of Jenny.

Buffy  and Angel go out on their first date.  Spike sends demon assassins to hunt down Buffy.  There is a new girl in town slaying vampires.

Buffy joins forces with Kenda the new Slayer (who was called when Buffy died while fighting the Master in "Prophecy Girl") in an attempt to save Angel from Spike.

"Ted"

Buffy  and the gang have all become parents.  But their new arrivals don't seem to be quite right. Two wild west vampires have come to town to hunt down Buffy.

Angel has lost his soul after spending the night with Buffy.  Jenny Calendar is discovered to be a member of the gypsy family who gave Angel his human soul.  Xander and Cordelia's  secret romance has been uncovered.

There is a werewolf in Sunnydale.  Buffy must protect the wolf from a poacher who is hunting the animal for sport. Meanwhile.  Willow and Oz start to get romantic.

Cordelia is a victim of  peer pressure and breaks up with Xander, on Valentine's Day.  Xander uses a witch to put a sell on Cordelia, but if backfires, and he soon has every woman in Sunnydale chasing him.

"Passion"

Angel's becomes obsessed with tormenting Buffy, he starts stalking her at home.  Jenny is desperate to make a right with everyone, especially with Giles

Buffy is admitted to the hospital with a  fever, where she experiences nightmares of her past and present.  Cordelia gets jealous when Xander protects Buffy from Angel.

Buffy helps a tortured spirit haunting Sunnydale High find peace.  Giles believes that the spirit is Jenny trying to send him a message from the grave.

"Go Fish"

Buffy must protect the members of the school swim team as it's members come to a fishy end.  Xander goes undercover to seek the truth.

Buffy must choose between her one true love and saving the world.  She must battle on alone as Willow is in a coma, Giles has been taken hostage and Xander has a broken arm.



SEASON 3

"Anne"

Buffy leaves Sunnydale and moves to city where she must battle a demon who is praying on street kids. With Buffy gone it is up to Willow, Xander, Oz and Cordelia to battle the vampires in Sunnydale.  Giles searches endlessly for Buffy.

"Dead Man's Party"

Buffy returns to Sunnydale and must make amends with her friends and her mum.  When Buffy's welcome home party is crashed, she must prove that she won't let her friends down again.

"Faith, Hope and Trick"

As Buffy tries to return to her normal life in Sunnydale, she is faced with the arrival of an ancient, cloven-hoofed demon and his vampire friend, Mr. Trick.  Another Slayer also arrives in town, Faith,  who helps Buffy battle the demons.

"Beauty and The Beasts"

A Sunnydale High student is found  mauled in the woods, Willow thinks that Oz  in werewolf mode might somehow be responsible for the attack. Buffy  discovers that Angel  has returned after 100 years of hellish torture, and thinks that he maybe the murderer.

"Homecoming"

Buffy and Cordelia battle to be crowned Homecoming Queen.  Mr Trick enlists a gang of killers in a hunt to destroy the two slayers.

"Band Candy"

Mr. Trick hatches a plan that causes Sunnydale's adult population to behave as irresponsible teenagers.  Buffy continues to hide Angels return from her mum and Giles who are watching her 24 hours a day.

"Revelations"

The gang finally learn of Angel's return and they're not to happy that Buffy's has been harboring a vicious killer.  Faith meets her new watcher, an Englishwoman who is disapproves of Giles' ways.

"Lovers Walk"

Spike, returns to Sunnydale heartbroken by Drusilla and is back to punish every one who is to blame, especially Angel. Willow prepares to cast a de-lusting spell to keep her and Xander's from wanting each other during a double date with Cordelia and Oz .

"The Wish"

Cordelia decides that all her troubles are caused by Buffy, and she wishes that she had never moved to Sunnydale.   An evil demon grants her wish, and Cordelia is transported into an altered reality in which the Hellmouth is open and The Master  is alive.  Sunnydale is swarming with vampires including Willow and Xander.

"Amends"

Angel is haunted by visions of his violent past, including the ghost of Jenny Calendar. Willow tries  to seductive Oz into realizing that he is the one for her; and Xander has to adjust to life without Cordelia.

"Gingerbread"

Directed by James Whitmore Jr.

Joyce discovers of two murdered children in the park and feels compelled to take action against the murderers. Giles believes that the killings maybe  an occult sacrifice.  Joyce rallies the adults of Sunnydale into a murderous mob to hunt down all witches, including Willow.

"Helpless"

It's Buffy's 18th birthday,  but all she wants to do is go to the ice show with her father.  Giles is secretly preparing a life-threatening rite of passage which drains the slayer of her powers and traps her with a powerful vampire that she must defeat.

"The Zeppo"

Xander is on a quest to prove that he's cool but it only leads him to trouble.  Buffy, Giles and the gang battle with an all-female apocalypse cult that intends to reopen the Hellmouth and end the world.

"Bad Girls"

Buffy starts leading a wild life with Faith.  Giles fights to maintain his sanity with the new watcher. Willow, Oz and Xander decide what they want to do in the future.

"Consequences"

Buffy  is haunted by the consequences of her and Faith's bad behavior. Faith heads for destruction as she feels no remorse for what she has done. Wesley overrides Giles' and instructs Buffy and Faith to get to the bottom of the recent murder.  The Mayor and Trick  are thrilled at the thought of a slayer being imprisoned for murder.

"Dopplegangland"

Willow's vampire self from the alternate world is brought forth bringing havoc to Sunnydale. Meanwhile, Buffy goes into training so she can battle Faith.  Faith's new alliance is already paying off for her.

"Enemies"

Faith  and the Mayor form an alliance against Buffy and plan to rob Angel of his soul. Meanwhile. Giles unofficially resumed his role as Watcher, as Wesley gets distracted  by Cordelia.

"Earshot"

Buffy finds she has the ability to hear other people's thoughts.  Her newfound power threatens to overwhelm her and isolate her from her friends. Buffy's learns of a potential mass murder plan at the school, which the gang must stop.

"Choices"

Buffy  launches a plan to and stop the Mayor's plans for "Ascension.". Willow  tries to choose among a large list of college acceptances,  Xander  prepares to hit the road on a adventure and Buffy and Angel  refuse to face the obstacles in their lives.

Buffy is determined on keep a villain from crashing the Prom. An encounter between Xander and Cordelia may have reopened their attraction for each other, but Xander is saddled with a demonic Prom date and while Cordy only has eyes for Wesley.

As the  gang prepares for graduation day, the Mayor gets ready  for his Ascension and transformation into pure demon. Buffy is distracted  when Angel  is weakened with a lethal poison.  Buffy and Faith faces each other for one final battle.

"The Freshman"

Trying to adjust to college life is proving to be hard for Buffy, as she copes with a new room mate and no man in her life. Willow loves college life and Xander  unexpectedly returns from his self-discovery adventure. Giles is enjoying his new life away from being a librarian and a Watcher.

"Living Conditions"

Buffy cannot get used to dorm life as her roommate slowly drives her crazy,  even invading Buffy's dreams.  Buffy meets a new man, Parker Finch, who is the first guy Buffy has seen since her break-up with Angel.

"The Harsh Light Of Day"

Spike, returns to Sunnydale in search of a mythical ring that gives the wearer special powers.  Buffy continues to date Parker, but difficulties arise. Xander has problems when Anya can't get him out of her mind.

"Fear Itself"

Buffy  joins Willow, Oz and Xander  at a Halloween party at  a real-life house of horrors. Giles is asked to help out at the college when all he wants is to get into the spirit of the holiday.

"Beer Bad"

Buffy makes new friends with a group of upperclassmen who convince her to drown her sorrows with them.  Xander becomes suspicious when Buffy and her new friends start acting strangely.  Willow sees that Oz's attention is being turned to a new performer at The Bronze.

"The Initiative"

Angel is in Sunnydale trying to protect Buffy.   Thanksgiving is disrupted by an army of  Indian spirits, who have come alive to recreate the wrongs that were done to their people.

"Something Blue"

Willow casts a spell which goes wrong forcing Buffy to fall in love with Spike.  While planning their marriage, Giles goes blind and Xander becomes a demon magnet.

"Hush"

Bizarre beings come to town and steal the power of speech from all the residents. Riley sees a different side of Buffy when she battles the beings. Willow attends a Wicca group.

Buffy and Riley try to come to terms about what they now know about each other.  The Hellmouth has been reopened and Buffy must stop the approaching doom. Spike has lost all the will to live without being able to kill, but he grows heartened by the approaching end of the world.

Buffy's friends become concerned when her involvement with Riley and the Initiative becomes more intense. Meanwhile, Professor Walsh sends the slayer on a mission that brings her close to revealing a  secret.

"Goodbye Iowa"

Buffy  and Riley's  relationship is strained when she investigates Professor Walsh's  death and comes up against the Initiative's secret weapon.  Riley becomes delusional and challenges Buffy when he discovers that his mentor has been killed.  Spike has become the outcast among demons since he has taken up with the Scooby Gang.

"This Year's Girl"

Buffy  is on the hunt to catch the creature that attacked Riley.  Faith has awakened from her coma and is seeking revenge on Buffy.  Faith also receives a gift from the Mayor that helps her seek revenge on Buffy.

"Who Are You"

Buffy battles to escape from the Watcher's Council,  who plan to send her to England, while Faith wreaks havoc in the lives of Buffy's family and friends. Willow  and Tara finally  figure out Buffy's whereabouts,  not before Faith does some damage to Buffy's relationship with Riley. 

"Superstar"

Buffy, is still reeling from the discovery that Riley slept with Faith. But she must put aside her personal emotions and must discover why the entire town thinks that former high school nerd, Jonathan, is Sunnydale's new superhero. 

"Where the Wild Things Are"

Buffy and Riley unknowingly  unleash a powerful supernatural force that awakens during a Lowell House fraternity party and causes everyone's hormones to kick into overdrive. In order to save them, the gang must battle the spirits of children from the 1950s who have come back to avenge past abuses.

"New Moon Rising"

Willow is stunned when Oz returns to Sunnydale claiming he still loves Willow and that he has the wolf under control. Willow tries to sort out her feelings for Oz and finally tells Buffy about her new relationship with Tara. When Oz transforms into the wolf he is captured by The Initiative and the gang must break into The Initiative to rescue him.  Buffy finaly tells Riley about her past with Angel.

"The Yoko Factor"

Angel arrives in  Sunnydale to go face to face with Riley.  Spike joins forces with Adam and devises a plan to tear the Slayer apart from her gang, leaving her wide open for her enemies to attack.

"Primeval"

Buffy's separation from her friends and Giles threatens to keep the group from stopping Adam. Riley is captured by Adam and learns that before Professor Walsh death, she had implanted Riley with a chip that could destroy his power and bond him to Adam forever.   Buffy must battle Adam using powers she never knew she had.

SEASON 5

"Buffy Vs Dracula"  
The season return of Buffy leads her straight into trouble when she is faced by the evil of Dracula.  Can Buffy fight his powers before Xander leads the Scooby Gang into trouble by becoming the "dark one's" minion.

"The Real Me"

While Buffy and Gils step up the training, Buffy and Dawn’s sibling rivalry gets them into trouble when a new gang of vampires target the slayer. Across town, when the magic shop is ransacked and the owner killed, Giles thinks he may have found a new hub for the Scooby gang

"The Replacement"
When a demon out  hunting Buffy accidentally catches Xander  in his sights, a mysterious Xander double  is born. Two Xanders aren't better than one as the evil double quickly takes over Xander's identity, fooling everyone including Buffy, and starts living Xanders life.

"Out Of My Mind"
Buffy learns that Initiative experiments left Riley with super strength, a high tolerance for pain and an abnormally fast heartbeat that could lead to a heart attack unless he gets help. But only the Initiative can help him, and they no longer exist.

"No Place Like Home"
An unseen evil comes to Sunnydale that that helps Buffy discover more about her newly arrived little sister Dawn and the girls are distressed and confused when their mum becomes ill without any explanation.

"Family"
Buffy and Giles try to figure out more about the evil that is haunting the Summers family.  Willow feels betrayed when Tara's family makes a surprise visit to Sunnydale and threatens to reveal a shocking secret that could endanger all of their lives! 

"Checkpoint"

 The Watcher's Council arrives in Sunnydale demanding Buffy  pass an exhaustive review of her slaying skills or they will withhold critical information about Glory

Crush
Buffy confronts Spike about his suspected crush and is appalled by his admission of love, but her brutal rejection sends him back into the clutches of Drusilla, who has returned to Sunnydale intent on returning Spike to his killer ways.

"I Was Made to Love You"

Directed by James A. Contner

Buffy becomes overprotective of her mum going on a date, but then sees it as a sign that she is feeling better. So Buffy decides she deserves a night out, as well. While she flirts with Ben, while a robot roams around town looking for her boyfriend. Once Spike sees the robot he tells the creator that he wants a robot of his own. The episode ends on a tragic note when Buffy finds her mum unconscious on the couch.


"The Body"

After overcoming a brain tumor, Joyce dies unexpectedly on her couch.  After overcoming the shock of discovering her mother's body, Buffy manages to pull herself together enough to tell Dawn the news.  The gang comes together to deal with the tragic loss.


"Forever"

Angel returns to Sunnydale to comfort Buffy after the death of her mother. Meanwhile. Dawn seeks help from Spike to perform a magic spell to bring her mum back to life.

 

"Intervention"

Buffy and Giles leave town on a quest to discover the answers to questions that the Slayer is needing answered. Buffy returns to find her robot double in Sunnydale. Glory's minions kidnap Spike believing that he is the Key.

"Tough Love"

While Buffy is preoccupied with looking after her sister, Glory and her minions set out to kidnap the person whom they believe to be the Key — Tara. Unfortunately, Tara is more vulnerable than usual, as  she and Willow are stunned from the effects of their first big fight. Tara's new mental condition leads Glory to discover who the key really is.


"Spiral"

The whole gang flee Sunnydale to escape Glory, who now knows the truth about Dawn.  They gang are soon attacted by the the legion of Knights of Byzantium who want to see the Key dead.  The Byzantium general gives the Slayer some important information about what Glory wants the key for. Buffy makes a huge mistake when she invites Ben to help and injured Giles.

"The Weight of the World"

Buffy falls into catatonia after Glory kidnaps Dawn. Willow enters Buffy's subconscious in an effort to somehow reach the Slayer. Spike, Xander and Giles work on a plan to defeat Glory.

"The Gift"
