Buffy the Vampire Slayer for Game Boy Color allows players to explore eight familiar environments from the show including the Old Mansion, the Sunnydale Zoo and the Cemetery. As Buffy, players fight demons and destroy vampires. The game also features story sequences that allow the player to interact with characters from the show's cast including Willow, Xander, Anya, Giles, Cordelia and Angel.
"Of all entertainment properties available today, Buffy the Vampire Slayer is THE franchise that gamers have been asking for," said Karly Young, Fox's Director of Worldwide Brand Marketing. "Now's our chance to give gamers the opportunity to live out their own Buffy adventures anytime they feel the need to kick some serious vampire butt."
You'll fill Buffy's shoes, fighting the undead with the help of the whole Scooby gang: Angel, Xander, Cordelia, Willow, Oz and Giles. The game claims to combine action, fighting, drama, humor, exploration and puzzle solving in rich interactive 3D environments. The game is being developed by The Collective, which is also working on the upcoming Unreal-fueled title Star Trek: Deep Space Nine - The Fallen.
