The Plot

Every year on May 5th, Woodson University fraternities and sororities hold the "Cinco de Mayo Scavenger Hunt" on an uninhabited island owned by the college which is fifteen miles from the campus. Each of the fraternities and sororities select one member from their house to represent them in the Hunt

Once the competitors arrive by boat they meet the judges and hike inland to set up their camps.  They then all take part in a tradition called The Mexican Plunge, where each member must have four shots of tequila.   Once the initiation is complete, the rules of the competition are set down

The game consists of the students being paired off  into boy/girl teams and hand-cuffed together. Hidden on the island are over 2500 pairs of  underwear. Each team is given two plastic bags and sent into the woods to find the most amount of underwear by nightfall.  The winning team will share $20,000. Also hidden on the island are decorations including piñatas which 
contain mini tequila bottles.

But sins of the past are haunting the island and it soon becomes a race of survival as the group find themselves not alone on the island, but being hunted by an evil Pinata.
